Josh is an undergraduate student pursuing a double major in Physics and Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Iowa. His research activities in our group involved developing a spectrally high performing multi-species detection sensor system.
Honors and awards: Recipient of 2016 Summer Iowa Center for Research by Undergraduates (ICRU) fellowship; 2016 Electrical and Computer Engineering Excellence award; Strayer-Rairden Scholarship, awarded to incoming freshman physics major selected as the state’s best qualified applicant based on merit; Engineering First Year Scholarship, awarded based on academic merit and contribution to a diverse learning environment.
