Biography

Lab Position: Undergraduate Researcher (Fall 2017 - present)
Constance is an undergraduate student (with a background in physiology) in the biomedical engineering department at the University of Iowa. Her research activities involve studying healthy and cancerous tissue characteristics in the infrared wavelength region. 

Past experience: Constance conducted multiple sclerosis nutritional study in Dr. Terry Wahls research group from Fall 2012 to Fall 2015 and was a co-author on a paper published in the journal for Degenerative Neurological and Neuromuscular Disease. She also participated in a summer internship in Pathology/Biophotonics at University of California, Davis from May 2012 to August 2012. She studied  CD64 expression on neutrophils in joint replacement patients at Veterans Affair Medical Center, Iowa City, IA during Summer 2011.
