Biography

Armando joined the Toor Lab in Spring 2021 to support automation of the mid-IR LED lifetime testing setup in our lab. He then returned to Rockwell Collins for a second summer internship during Summer 2021 and is now enrolled in the MS with thesis program in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at the University of Iowa. His research activities involve development of semiconductor optoelectronics for mid-IR light generation and harvesting. 

Honors and Awards: Armando was on the Dean's List at the University of Iowa every semester from Fall 2018 to Spring 2021.
