Olivia is a Chemical Engineering major at Montana State University. During her summer NSF REU experience she is studying plasmonic resonances of metal nanoparticles decorated on planar and textured silicon surfaces.  

Honors and awards: Dean's list at Montana State University for six consecutive semesters;  Recipient of the Governor's Best and Brightest and STEM scholarship through the Montana University System from Fall 2015 to Spring 2017; Class of 2015 Valedictorian from Capital High School in Helena, MT, graduated Suma Cum Laude, received the Full Boar Award, a 2015 Helena Education Foundation Distinguished Student award

Leadership positions: Nominated and selected to be an Engineering Ambassador at Montana State University, to represent the Norm Asbjornson College of Engineering and provide a first look at the engineering programs to incoming students
